Green Ceramics – MICROfactorie

Developing waste to product outcomes and operating within a circular economy solution is our key priority at Revert.

Throughout the years the fit-out and refurbishment sector (particularly within the commercial workspace) a significant amount of materials generated throughout the strip out and demolition process has been destined to landfill, especially when these materials or products are unable to be repurposed.

To achieve this we have partnered with Kandui Technologies to change this approach by collaborating throughout the design and pre-construction phase to unlock the value of this waste and bring the material back to life via MICROfactorie technology.

Green Ceramics are a new generation of high performance, non toxic, engineered bio-composites, for use in buildings, as furniture and for various architectural and decorative applications. Green Ceramics are predominately made from varying waste glass and textile that are traditionally not subject to recycling.

The Revert team work closely with client project managers, designers, architects and asset owners developing innovative architectural material solutions to achieve design intent and sustainable outcomes.
